Pre-BOTOX® Treatment

Prior to your first BOTOX® treatment, we will schedule a consultation for you with an American Laser Skincare professional who will take a medical history, review the treatment options, outcome expectations and answer all of your questions. Our skincare professionals will also provide an in-depth explanation of BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment.

BOTOX® Treatment

Frown lines, laugh lines and worry lines between your brow, your forehead and around your eyes form over time as the result of muscle activity. In order to temporarily reduce these lines, American Laser Skincare offers the BOTOX® Cosmetic procedure, using the purified protein produced by the Clostridium Botulinum Bacterium. BOTOX® is a nonsurgical treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines between the brows.

Although the results are visible, a treatment with BOTOX® will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look stiff or surprised. The muscle activity that worsens the lines on your face is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

During the procedure, very low doses of BOTOX® are administered by an authorized healthcare professional via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles.

Treatment Time (Duration of Treatment)

Generally a BOTOX® session lasts 15-20 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Post-BOTOX® Treatment

It is recommended that patients apply ice in the instance of swelling and refrain from lying down for four to six hours following the BOTOX® procedure. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 3-4 months after your BOTOX® treatment in order to monitor your results. Within days, you may see an improvement that can last up to four months. Individual results may vary. If you do not continue BOTOX® treatments, the moderate to severe lines on your face will gradually look like they did before treatment.
