Steven Straus, Chief Executive Officer and Member Board of Directors

Steve is responsible for the strategic direction of American Laser Center including its rollout of new services to meet our clients aesthetic services needs. He brings over three decades of health care services experience to ALC. Most recently, Steve was CEO of LCA-Vision, Inc., which operates under the LasikPlus brand name. Previously, he held senior executive roles in several health care companies, including MSO Medical, Titan Health Corporation, Columbia/HCA, Baxter Healthcare and American Hospital Supply Corporation. Steve has been married for 30 years and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two adult children.

Rich Morgan, Founder and Member Board of Directors

Rich is responsible for the oversight and direction of American Laser Center’s field operations, lending his knowledge and experience within the industry to our ALC clinics. Rich founded ALC in January 2002, serving as CEO until the company was sold in 2007. Rich returned to the company in 2008 in his current role. Rich began his career in the grocery industry, quickly rising through the ranks with Haggen Foods and Larry's Market becoming that company's youngest-ever store director. Subsequently, Rich founded Global Solutions, a marketing company and E-Image Development, a company that pioneered CD-Rom business cards for the hotel industry. In his spare time, Rich enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. David Turok, Vice President and Corporate Medical Director

Dr. Turok is responsible for developing all of American Laser Centers treatment modalities and protocols including quality assurance, technical training, and service delivery, as well as identifying and testing new technologies that can expand ALC’s aesthetic service offerings. Dr. Turok is one of the first cosmetic surgeons in the U.S. to perform laser assisted liposuction as well as CO2 laser facial resurfacing. Prior to working with ALC, Dr. Turok was Medical Director for Quasar Medical, where his responsibilities included training cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists and facial plastic surgeons in the treatment of age changes including veins, wrinkles, cellulite reduction and hair removal. Dr. Turok is an Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon graduate of Albany Medical College with 2 board certifications. He is an avid piano player who enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters.

Chelsea Klinke, Vice President of National Sales

Chelsea is responsible for leading our national sales organization. Her focus is to enhance clinic performance by motivating the team to understand our clients’ needs and build trusted relationships with them. In her seven year career with ALC, she has been instrumental in growing the business and ALC brand. She has firsthand experience with business development, sales performance, and sales management having risen from Clinic Manager to Regional Manager before becoming Vice President of National Sales. Chelsea graduated from Georgia State University and now lives in her hometown of Dallas, Texas with her husband of six years and two boys. When she is not traveling, Chelsea enjoys playing in a women’s soccer league.

Bob Mack, Vice President of Operations

Bob handles clinic recruiting, training and clinic best practices. Prior to joining ALC, Bob spent 26 years with Bally Total Fitness including Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations, Vice President of European Operations, and Director of Franchising. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he went on to graduate from the University of Michigan. Bob enjoys flying, fitness and spending time with his wife and two boys.

Jacqueline Segal, Vice President, Controller

Jacquie is responsible for ALC’s accounting and finance team including audit, financial statements, financial compliance and banking relationships. She has spent over 25 years in various accounting and finance roles including 6 years as CFO for RLE International. Jacquie has a Masters in Finance from Walsh College. Jacquie is an avid boater who enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters and husband of 19 years.

Cheryl Vogel, Treasury Director

Cheryl manages ALC’s daily banking activities including accounts payable, cash management and cash forecasting. Prior to joining ALC three years ago, Cheryl spent 32 years at the Kmart Corporation in accounts payable and treasury management functions. Cheryl has a Masters Degree from Walsh College in Information Systems and Communications, enjoys riding her Harley and working with the Rainbow Connection to make wishes come true for Michigan children who have life threatening illnesses.

Andrew Orr, Vice President, Finance, Planning and Analysis

Andy oversees financial planning and analysis. He brings over 20 years corporate finance and strategy experience to ALC most recently serving as Vice President of Merchandise Finance at Borders Group, Inc. Prior to Borders, Andy held finance roles at FTD and the Gerber Products Company. Andy is a Michigan native who graduated Michigan State University and lives with his wife Tricia, two children, Casey and Connor, and dog Gina.
