Gary Graves, Chief Executive Officer, Corporate
As chief executive officer, Gary is responsible for overseeing all corporate and field operations of Farmington Hills, MI-based American Laser Centers.
Prior to joining American Laser Centers, Gary spent five years as president and chief executive officer for La Petite Academy. With 650 locations and more than $400 million in yearly sales, La Petite Academy is one of the leading for-profit preschool educational facilities in the United States.
Gary's professional experience also includes executive leadership positions with McKinsey, Interpark Holdings Inc., Boston Market, Inc. and PepsiCo. Gary was elected as the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Caribou Coffee in November 2007. Gary has been involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation after his daughter lost her battle with a brain tumor in 1993 and was elected to the national board in 2004.
Gary earned an engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago.
Tony Zanlungo, Vice President, Operations Services
Mr. Zanlungo oversees new clinic openings, licensing, clinic equipment and transportation. He also oversees the operations of AmeriPure, American Laser Centers' line of skincare products. Prior to joining ALC in 2002, he was General Manager at D&W, Ltd., a restaurant company in Southeast Michigan. He attended college at Ferris State University where he received a full athletic scholarship. He also played professional football in the Arena Football League.
Kevin Piecuch, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel,
Corporate Development
Mr. Piecuch oversees human resources, training, medical and legal departments. Prior to joining ALC, he was an attorney at the Trowbridge Law Firm in Detroit and a labor negotiator in the telecommunications industry. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Law School, McCormick Theological Seminary, and Drake University. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
Carol Wright, Chief Financial Officer
Financial Operations
Ms. Wright oversees all financial operations of American Laser Centers.
Prior to joining American Laser Centers, Wright spent more than 27 years serving a wide range of middle-market clients with the international account and consulting firm BDO Seidman LLP, where she was a partner for 10 years.
She is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and has held positions as chairwoman of the Troy Chamber of Commerce as well as serving as the finance director for multiple non-profit entities throughout her career. In addition, Wright teaches tax courses and contributes to financial industry journals including The Tax Advisor.
Wright earned a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from Oakland University, where she was valedictorian of her class. She resides in Bloomfield Hills with her husband and three children.
